GB physio returns to York with state of the art elite sports injury clinic.

I have had the privilege to travel the world with work. From the Middle east with Professional Squash, Europe with Team GB, to Rio for the Paralympic Games, and yet York will always be a favourite!

I spent three wonderful years here (2004-7) whilst completing my Physiotherapy degree at York St John University. Playing rugby and working at Betty’s tea room provided some of my best and yet rather contrasting memories.

For now however I’m back with our performance sport Physiotherapy team at Ultra Flex Gym on Layerthorpe road, York.

Our new clinic boasts the ability to take a patient into the gym and provide unparalleled rehabilitation capabilities and all overseen by a physio team with genuine elite sport pedigree.

We successfully recruited Curtis Taylor, another York St. John physio graduate and the current junior British Powerlifting champion, to work full time under our mentorship program at York.

We also have Adam Hindley, an experienced physiotherapist, personal trainer and VLOGer who has completed his own fitness journey “from shots to shreds” completing our team in York.

We pride ourselves on providing insight and understanding to our patients and passionately believe in the development and progression of our team.

Our mission is to deliver the best possible outcomes in the fastest possible time utilising our collective knowledge and elite sport experience.

Ultra Flex Gym York is one of the best performance gyms in the country and our patients can use the gym for free on the day of their treatment to perform their individual rehabilitation programs.

From common injury to elite sport you can rest assured that we’ve got all bases covered!
